Learning & Teaching Performance Fund

The Learning and Teaching Performance Fund was announced in 2003 as part of the Australian Government's Our Universities: Backing Australia's Future package of reforms and initiatives.

All universities must comply with a number of requirements to be eligible to participate in the Fund. The Learning and Teaching Performance Fund - participation requirements document provides links to documentation and web pages through which CQU meets the participation requirements.

Management Plan for Learning and Teaching 2007 - 2010

Evidence of systematic support for professional development in learning and teaching for sessional and full-time academic staff

Staff Development Policy

The Learning and Teaching Portal provides staff with information on teaching induction programs, seminars, workshops and professional development activities. The Portal also provides guides, resources and support for innovations in learning and teaching.

A Professional Development Framework is currently under development, and will be linked as soon as it is approved.


Evidence of probation and promotion practices and policies which include effectiveness as a teacher

Aggregated evaluations of student evaluation of courses for 2003 - 2005 are available online at http://ses.cqu.edu.au/next/course_eval_averages.htm.
These course evaluations are the product of approximately 17,000 returned questionnaires in 2005.
